Five years later, on November 13, 2015, the ACA enforcement agencies (DOL, HHS, IRS) jointly published final rules on several 2010 Affordable Care Act (ACA) provisions. Effective January 1, 2017, the final rules address grandfathered plan status, pre-existing condition exclusions, lifetime and annual limits, rescissions (cancellations of coverage), dependent coverage, patient protections and appeals & review. At Marshall & Sterling, we strive to keep clients informed with valuable and timely information on issues that impact your business and benefit plans. Click here for brief highlights from the final rules. You can also access the full text of the Final Regulations here. As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. |
