Nicoll & MacChesney Agency Joins Marshall & Sterling Insurance
We're excited to announce the acquisition of Nicoll & MacChesney Insurance, an independent agency located in Troy, NY. Founded in 1964, Nicoll & MacChesney provides a broad range of personal and commercial insurance services throughout the Capital Region and eastern New
York.

Nicoll & MacChesney’s current office, located at 2nd Street in downtown Troy, will remain open and operational, becoming Marshall & Sterling’s 16th branch location in New York State, and 24th overall. “Our goal has always been to provide exceptional service to our clients”, stated Robert MacChesney, President of Nicoll & MacChesney Insurance. “By joining Marshall & Sterling, we can enhance the services we currently provide to our customers, while at the same time now offer new services including group health and benefits programs, loss control, risk management, financial planning services and more.”
