Federal Court Orders Employers Must Submit EEO-1 Pay Data by September 30, 2019

Employers required to complete an annual Employer Information Report (EEO-1 Report) must submit pay data by September 30, 2019, as ordered by a federal judge on April 25, 2019. Employers should note the deadline to submit Component-1 data remains May 31, 2019.

As a reminder, private employers with 100 or more employees and federal government contractors or first-tier subcontractors with 50 or more employees and a contract / subcontract of $50,000 or more are required to file the EEO-1 report annually.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is expected to update its website regarding the court’s ruling by April 29th.
